General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics Junior Investigator
The Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time tenure track Investigator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include health services research, healthcare delivery, epidemiology, health communication, health literacy, health promotion and behavior change, community health, health disparities, aging, human factors, and informatics. New faculty will have many opportunities to collaborate with researchers across the Medical School and the University, including those in the Institute for Public Health and Medicine, Department of Preventive Medicine, Department of Medical Social Sciences, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago-area Veteran’s Administration Hospitals, our affiliated Federally-Qualified Community Health Centers. Qualified candidates will have either their MD or PhD. Successful candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher will have independent grant funding at the time of their start date at Northwestern. Others may be considered for the rank of non-tenure-eligible Instructor, with the possibility of converting to the tenure track later, dependent upon accomplishments. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
