The Department of English at Northwestern University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Nineteenth-Century British Literature and Culture. We welcome candidates whose research focuses on any form of British cultural production of the long nineteenth century and any critical approach, including those considering empire, gender, race, class, sexuality, disability, and ecological perspectives.
