Stephen M. Stahl Endowed Professorship in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine seeks applicants for the inaugural Stephen M. Stahl Endowed Professorship in Psychiatric Research. This position is a full-time tenure track Investigator at the rank of Associate professor or Professor. Successful applicants will have a strong track record of extramural funding, interdisciplinary collaboration, mentorship, and high impact scientific contributions. Qualified candidates should hold an M.D. and/or Ph.D. degree and have appropriate postdoctoral or clinical training (if relevant). We seek applications across the spectrum of basic, translational, and/or clinical research relevant to the etiology, risk, prognosis and treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders. The position is supported by an endowed chair and research fund, generous start-up resources, and space allocations commensurate with the investigator’s research needs and methodological approaches. Successful candidates will join a growing and collaborative department in a world-class research institution located in vibrant downtown Chicago.
