FT Instructor/Assistant Professor, FSM Physician Assistant Program
The Physician Assistant Program at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include year-round teaching, assessment, and advisement of physician assistant students in the didactic (primary) and clinical phases of the curriculum. Additionally, the faculty member will participate in the admissions process, as well as ongoing program evaluation and planning. All faculty participate in the continuous review, analysis, and evaluation of the program’s success as related to accreditation. The faculty member will be expected to be actively involved in scholarship and professional development. Qualified candidates will hold a masters or doctoral degree from a regionally accredited university in an area appropriate to PA education. The candidate will be a graduate of an accredited PA program, or school of medicine. The successful candidate will hold national certification and be eligible for licensure to practice in Illinois. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated teaching experience in a college/university-based PA program. Experience in problem-based learning is desirable.
