Urologic Oncologist
The Department of Urology at Northwestern University is seeking a full-time clinical urologist. This would be a continuing appointment, contingent upon clinical and academic performance. This position requires the applicant to possess at least an MD degree, to have completed an accredited residency in urology, to be fellowship trained in urologic oncology and to be Board certified. The faculty member will provide sub-specialty care in the areas of urologic oncology. This position will have an overall focus on the diagnosis and management of patients with urologic cancers. This will include pre-operative evaluation, intra-operative familiarity with surgical techniques, and postoperative management. The purpose of this appointment is to augment and support Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Department of Urology at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and to advance the field of urologic oncology. This is a full-time position with dedicated time for patient care. There is also an expectation that the faculty member will participate in medical student and resident education, clinical research, publications and be productive academically. The recruitment is at the rank of Assistant Professor. The position is a non-tenure-eligible position. Salary is commensurate with experience.
