Tenure Track Assistant/Associate Professor in Musculoskeletal Research
The Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences (PTHMS) within the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time faculty position, in the tenure eligible, investigator track, in the area of musculoskeletal research. An emphasis on quantitative human studies related to orthopedic dysfunction affecting movement, combined with a strong background in imaging, will be considered a strength. Federal grant successes are highly desired. Teaching responsibilities will involve team-teaching in our musculoskeletal course series and in other PhD level courses. The ideal applicant will hold a PhD or PhD/PT and have 2 or more years of post-doctoral experience and strong scholarly productivity. Applicants should have a strong quantitative background and will be expected to develop and maintain a distinguished externally-funded research program and contribute to the teaching and advising of graduate students (physical therapy, neuroscience, and engineering). The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
